The construction is good and it makes tasty milk. I like the filter-less design. It seems to be similar to sonya 18B (minus the ss top).Time will tell how reliable it is. The warranty is not very good: comes with 1 year warranty; service can take up to 6 weeks to fix it with new or refurbished parts and warranty will not be extended for the fixed product (i.e. if broken on month 12, subsequently fixed, malfunctions again - even after a day- you're out of luck), the fine print is fuzzy on who pays for shipping from the manufacturer back to you.

well worth it

Purchased Nov 2011, had been using it almost daily. Like our soy milk taste stronger so we would use about 1 1/2 cup of soy bean, soak for a few hours, and using boiling water and add to max water mark. Selecting the soak bean option and the total process time is approx. 18 mins. Make sure to clean up promptly before the pulp dry up.

Excellent, I was packing one of these out a work and never saw one before-so I ordered one on the premise of the money I would save-so far I have been making rice milk using a scoop of brown rice, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tsp of vanilla and it is great.Great Product!
