Doesn't work very well
By Julianne
When you press the lemons down to be juiced, the core of the juicer turns and should "ream" the juice from the lemons. It takes a fair amount of pressure to do this and three things happen: 1. you might get some juice from the lemons, 2. the entire juicer, housing, base etc. turns or "walks" on the counter as you push down on lemons. You end up chasing the trickle of juice but clean up more of it in the form of a lemon puddle all over the counter or 3. as you put more downward pressure on the lemon the unit can't take the force and it stops until you pull back leaving most of the juice still in the lemon. It has helped to put a sticky mat under the juicer to keep it from spinning away. It may be only slightly easier (an a lot messier) if at all, to use this gadget than to squeeze lemons the old fashioned way.

Quiet and Efficient for the Money
By JohnInTexas
I bought this juicer several weeks ago for about $30. I wanted something dedicated for citrus fruit that would be easier to clean and operate than the big juicers that can extract juice from almost anything. When you get done juicing with this machine there are four medium-size pieces you can just rinse off or soap wash if you are storing long-term. One reviewer described difficulties juicing lemons and apparently was bogging the motor down with pressure. I'm juicing small oranges and have not had similar problems. The motor is quiet, adequately strong, and the 3-setting pulp sieve works great. Before you throw out the pulp, put the clear lid on and press down and it puts the pulp on "spin cycle" to extract more juice. It IS possible to activate the spin cycle without the clear lid to keep all the juice inside so learn how it works BEFORE you start juicing. If you will only make frsh juice regularly if it's easy...this is worth a try.
