The Samson 6-1 has the same single auger disign used on Commercial Wheatgrass Juicers. Consequently, it is highly effective in extracting juice from wheatgrass and other leafy greens. At the same time the multi-functional "Samson" can extract healthy juices from carrots, apples, ginger, pine needles, aloe, beets, mugwort, yam, arrowroots, herbs, parsley, asparagus, cabbage, sprouts, cucumber, and many other fruits and vegetables. . - Higher yield, with drier pulp. The low-speed screw prevents natural flavors and high nutritional contents from being destroyed. Optionally available accessories - Oil Extractor & Ice Shaver - Vegetable Slicer "Samson" is made of U. S. FDA-approved polycarbonate and melamine, These materials are semi-permanent and extremely hygienic. Regular high-speed juicers can destroy natural flavor and the nutritional value of vegetables and fruits. High Power Magic is low speed stone mill-type screw which preserves as much flavor and nutritional value as possible. "Samson" has a built-in devise which prevents it from overheating. Fast, easy to use. Very glad I bought it!

I mainly needed a new juicer for juicing wheatgrass. This machine is great because not only can it juice grass but it can also be used for vegetable and fruit juicing. It has completely replaced my other vegetable and fruit juicer!! Now I just have one machine that does it all! Also a big bonus is that is also makes soy milk! Frozen healthy sorbets, and all natural nut butters, I made cashew butter and it was great and cheaper then buying at the store. Oh yes, I also made fresh pasta, and salsa. The clean up is so easy, the parts won't rust, (which is the reason my old juicer needed to be replaced). It's a breeze a take apart and put back together, just a few seconds. It's a dream, couldn't be happier with this product. Oh yes and it really squeezes the last drop out of the wheatgrass, the pulp comes out bone dry! My last juicer did not do that. I'm getting more juice for my buck!

All the good things from the other reviews are correct. Versatile, long warranty, easy to clean, etc. But there is a catch. I purchased only for wheatgrass which I juice daily for health reasons. The manual says to feed very small quantities at a time, less than with other juicers, OR SEVERAL OF THE PLASTIC BITS won't take the strain. So you can either constantly watch how you feed the hopper or pay the price. I am on my third juice strainer (an internal non-optional part) because the other two shattered. Not a pretty sight. Keep this in mind

Bought this for wheatgrass juicing, but I am really impressed with the fact that I can make other stuff with it. Several pasta attachments!!The one negative review on this product vaguely talks about it taking too long, which is not my experience. Maybe they want something more like a blender. I don't know. Anyway, its a hard-core juice extractor, so you wouldn't expect it to process the food at warp speed! It works about as fast as the wheatgrass juicer they use at Jamba Juice from what I can tell. It's also easy to clean.Love love love it!
