Mixie laughs at difficult jobs!
By Beth Adcock
Exploring Indian cooking made me realise that I simply didn't have any way to grind many of the ingredients for the foods I most loved. Some I could work around, but others I couldn't. I tried grinding dal and rice to make dosas using a blender and food processor. My coffee grinder dedicated to spices (previously only used for herbs) was unable to grind some spices. My blender had to be declared moribund when the jar broke (for unrelated reasons), and couldn't be replaced with one that fit properly. Fortunately, online Indian friends had been talking about mixies, so I decided to research them, and was very impressed with everything I read about their strength and versatility.I decided on this mixie because of its small footprint, powerful motor, and variety of blades and containers. Since getting it, I have ground spices, dal, rice; minced meat; shredded coconut; prepared mounds of ginger, garlic, and chilies for freezing; and enjoyed mango lassi, dosas, and other restaurant favourites at home. Never once has it choked or faltered. The reset button in the base remains unpushed. I love the stainless steel jars, and being able to choose the right blade for the job.I still use my food processor, but use the mixie far more frequently.

Great Product for better living
By public_tiger
Ever since we brought this our life in US has been different..Earlier we were using Mixer from GE and other products which basically are useless for indian cooking. They can just grind some fruits .Since we got this..we make our own masala like Coriander,Chilli and Idli Podi. Its fast easy to clean and very handy. I would suggest this to anyone . I have been using it heavy use since last 8 months and other than the normal wear and tear this is standing tall and ahead of competition.

Bad blades.. weak build.. not worth the money
By Harish
The mixer's blades are not sharp enough.. and the build of the mixer is very weak.. Its worth only 50% of the money. My ninja chopper grinds 10 times better. After a good search for an indian mixie, ended up with this.. will mostly return it back.
