The EXD900W by Excalibur comes with 9 trays, a total of 15 square feet of drying space. The adjustable thermostat temperature control ranges from 95?F to 155?F making it safe to dehydrate meat for jerky. The fan, heating element and thermostat are in the back of the unit, so cool air is drawn in, heated and then distributed evenly over each tray. This patented Parallex Horizontal Airflow is exclusive to Excalibur and helps the food to dehydrate faster, retain more nutrients and look and taste better, without tray rotation. Since 1973, Excalibur has been made in Sacramento, California. Over the years, Excalibur has taken the lead in advancements related to the mechanics of dehydration including air flow, heating dynamics, and materials.
Any dehydrator will dry food. An Excalibur dries better, faster & safer thanks to Excalibur's patented Hyperwave Fluctuation technology. Ordinary dehydrators produce constant, unchanging heat causing "case hardening." Basically a dry surface with moisture trapped inside – the perfect environment for yeast, mold and bacteria growth. With the Excalibur Hyperwave Fluctuation technology the air temperature fluctuates up and the food's surface moisture evaporates, then the air temperature fluctuates down and the inner moisture moves to the drier surface. This keeps the food temperature low enough to keep the enzymes active, but the air temperature gets high enough to dry food, overcoming yeast, mold, and spoilage.

Product is as described exactly. I saved over $150 ordering from Amazon. Delivery was speedy (2 days UPS) and free unbelievable! That's saying a lot since I am accustomed to paying high shipping fees as I live in Hawaii. The price was so good I bought 2. I'll be making all kinds of goodies, the possibilities are endless. The Excalibur sturdy, easy to clean, durable and most important user friendly. For clean-up, I scrub my screens & trays outside cold water and "Dawn" suds pop em back into the dryers and turn on for a few minutes to dry. All done. Easy peasy. MSRP $300.00 - $350.00 Just buy it, you'll love it. Thanks Amazon.

Worth the Money?

I have only had it a few weeks, and use it only occasionly. I would have liked it a lot more if it had variable speed. It only has high and low. It cost a lot less than similar blenders of other brands, but though new, the only warrenty worth anything is the seller's 90 day one. To take advantage of the manufacturer's one year warrenty, I would have to send the blender to the original manufacturer in the orient. It seems like a good blender, most likely to last for years. If so, I will get my money's worth for sure. If not, I will have no way to get any help from the manufacture, Which may be difficult even to locate.

It makes juice as advertised!

My first juicer, so I don't know how the Champion really stacks up against others.I find it takes a long time to clean, like 20-30 minutes, and is not worth juicing unless making a couple gallons. I could never use it as a daily juicer, though, because of the time involved. It's my weekend activity, then I drink the juice during the week. The juice is great. I use a people's press to get maybe 20% more juice out of the pulp.

I haven't been able to juice with this yet because my screen than came with the product doesn't actually fit the machine. I think there should have been two options for a screen as well and I only got one screen. I've been using the blank to block the flow of juice since I have been homogenizing. I would recommend buying a juicing buddy to get the juice out of any pulp you homogenized. Type in juicing budy on google and you will see what it looks like, just a juice press a father makes, very good quality.I am very please with this for homoegenizing but isn't it suppose to be a juicer, I am still waiting to hear feedback from the seller as to why the juicing screens aren't working. I will change my review once I make conact.
