All you need to do is to add bean and rice, select a program, press start, and wait for 15 minutes to enjoy the cooked milk. Home-made milks are hot, fresh, preservative-free, and very cheap (20 cents of bean to make $3-5 organic milks from store). This soy milk maker uses a self cleaning function. After making a batch of milk, just add water to the container, put the machine head back to the container, select Self-Cleaning function, and press Start. The machine will start a self-cleaning cycle. This machine makes milks from soaked beans as well as dry beans. It makes bean paste and rice paste. It makes rice porridge and rice congee. It cooks and stews soups. Finally, this machine also makes fresh juice from vegetables and fruit (i.e., orange, apple, peach, and strawberry).

Great machine, better than a JoyYoung brand

My mother recently bought soymilk machine in the popular Joyyoung brand, which works fine. After a long research, I have decided with this one,even there are very few people had it and reviewed on it. and after few days of use, and compare with the other brand , I have concluded that this machine is a much better one than Joyyoung brand, here is the differences.1.it is a lot easier to clean, the self cleaning function has no use at all, and it is simply a waste but a selling point for the machine, however, using the self cleaning is completely waste of time. But, the machine self by design is super easy to clean, basically, i can clean it with a brush under the runing water within 30 sec. without even getting my hand wet at all. So this is definately a plus compare with other brand, which you need to really get your hand wet and getting parts off to clean it.2. It grinds a lot more than other machine, so it is much finer and rich in the milk, as reuslt it has very little waste compare with other brand, and it is only about 30% of the other machine compare to the waste.3. The outside not getting so hot that will burn your hand if you touch it, it will get hot, but you can touch with your hand, or move it ,not a problem at all. not like other machine, which i have burned my hand when it is in working.4. all stainless steel , good looking and easy to clean. other one has a lot of plastic pieces.The nagtive things is : it comes with very little instruction, and the receipe do not tell you how to make it, or give you quantities , so you just do not know how much beans you need to put in. And self-cleaning is waste of time, do not even bother with it.so, these added together, I can say it is better machine than the Joyyoung brand.

poor quality and poor customer service

I ordered this item only base on one view which is the wrong decision I ever made. When the soy milk maker arrived, I found out the green spot inside the stainless steel container and a few cracks already. Obviously, a poor quality product. When I tried to contacted the customer service they claim their product is suppose to be perfect and shouldn't have such problem. so I need to pay the shipping in my own cost to sent back the item. Anyway, I am not happy with that. If you want the good quality soy milk maker go for joyung as I got one from another site.
