This is a brand new Dr. Squeeze wheatgrass juicer: the household model. This machine is designed to juice only wheatgrass, and it does it really well. The juicer is so simple that it can be used, cleaned and put back together in just a few minutes. Ease of use is the most important quality of any juicer or they will not get used! Its innovative compact design takes up less counter space and puts the fresh juice right in front of the user. The pulp comes out drier than it does from other similar juicers. It has a powerful motor and can produce well over 10 ozs. of juice at each use. So called "multi-purpose" juicers tend to get clogged after making a few ounces of wheatgrass and other small wheatgrass juicers tend to overheat. The owner's manual comes with suggestions on how to best use wheatgrass and is very helpful. The service center phone number is imprinted on the device so they can be contacted toll free. The juicer, the manual, a wrench/tamper, and cup come in a very nice display box so that it makes a nice gift. It comes with a one year warranty but will likely last many, many years under normal to heavy use.

Really a Great Juicer!

I've been drinking wheatgrass for years, but I only recently decided to start juicing it at home. I have to admit, at first I thought it might be difficult, but this machine makes it really easy. I can put it together, juice a few ounces, and clean it within a few minutes. Its also a lot cheaper than many of the other juicers like it, but it works just as good if not better. Its also really small so it doesn't take up too much space in my kitchen. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to juice wheatgrass at home.

I've had this machine for about 2 years. It's a great machine, very easy to assemble, clean, and juice. Don't stuff it with grass other wise some of the parts will break but if this machine is taken care of it's the perfect little machine to have.

Not an efficient juicer

On the plus side it was very easy to assemble and then disassemble and clean. However it completely failed at it's main goal which is to juice wheatgrass. I put a whole 4 inch x 4 inch tray of wheatgrass in, slowly as to not jam the machine, and it eventually dribbled out 4 drops of juice and a rope of wadded up wheatgrass. I called the support line and they said it was working properly and that I just needed to put in more wheatgrass. A commercial juicer would have gotten 3 or 4 ounces out of the amount of wheatgrass I put in instead of the 4 measly drops I got. Don't buy this product it's a waste of time, Get a cheaper hand cranked juicer or splurge on a commercial masticating juicer.
